The automotive industry is extremely demanding in terms of selecting the right packaging materials due to the variety of components used in it – from very small to very large, from light to very heavy. Some of them are particularly susceptible to scratches or dents.
Add to this the fact that these parts are often expensive, and delivery time is even critical and subject to contractual penalties, and it becomes clear that optimizing the packaging process and selecting the right materials is one of the important factors to analyse in business.

Packaging materials for the automotive industry
PE polyethylene foam is an extremely versatile material that provides a high level of protection in the packaging of automotive parts. Why?
- resistant to moisture and mold formation,
- flexible - once the pressure subsides, it returns to its original shape,
- chemically inert,
- light-weighted – so it does not significantly increase the weight of packages,
- insulating.
In the automotive industry, it is used to protect products such as: exhaust systems, headlight and LED lighting assemblies, and brake systems.
You can order the foam in the form of a roll of your choice of width (maximum 2000mm) and roll. You also have the option of buying a roll of PE foam with perforations, which make it easier to tear off material of specific dimensions.
If you want to optimize the amount of material taken by workers and speed up the packaging process, in addition to the perforated roll, you can bet on the so-called confection, i.e. ready-made PE foam products, such as:
- Polyethylene foam bags
these allow the product to be inserted into a ready-made bag prepared to size, saving time on cutting the material. They are often used for packing small items, such as screws or caps, so that they do not “fly” around the package and scratch other products.
Nevertheless, we can also produce large bags for you, enabling you to pack large parts.

- Polyethylene foam sheets
Make it easier to pick up material (they come in packets), especially in automatic or semi-automatic processes. They also standardize its use by employees.

Polyethylene foam also comes in the form of a laminate with bubble/aluminum/ HDPE/polyethylene film. This additional reinforcement of the material makes laminate the highest standard of protection, which is excellent for protecting heavy parts and/or those with sharp edges.

- laminate roll - width: 0.1-0.8m, length: 50-200mb
- laminate with perforation roll - width: 100-1800mm, length: 250mm - no restrictions.
- laminate in sheets - width of a single sheet: 150-1250mm, length of one perforated section: 150-3000mm

Bubble wrap for the automotive industry - cushioning and moisture protection
An equally commonly used packaging material in the automotive industry is bubble wrap. Air-filled bubbles protect parts from shocks and impacts. It is ideal for packing small, fragile items. It also provides protection against scratches.
Bubble wrap comes in two variants – two-layer and three-layer.
The two-layer construction distinguishes between light bubble film (B-1) and reinforced (B-2). The three-layer film, which is great for protecting delicate materials, comes in standard (B-3) and reinforced (B-4) variants. It is flexible – it easily adapts to irregular shapes.

- Bubble wrap bags
Allow you to quickly pack a part by slipping it into the bag. It is possible to produce pouches with an adhesive strip, which eliminates tape and scissors from this stage of the packaging process. We deliver them to customers as bulk packages or in a perforated roll.

Sealed on one side, wound on a roll. You can cut off any length of it.

- Bubble wrap sleeves
Is a roll of bubble wrap that has holes on two sides (it literally looks like a sleeve). Its plus point is that, with a fixed width, you can adjust the length as you see fit by cutting the film at a specific point.

Stretch film for the automotive industry
Stretch film is a very versatile packaging material that, in addition to stabilizing loads on pallets, protects transported auto parts from dirt and moisture. It is also a protection against theft of high-value products (black stretch film). It also keeps the packaged components in one place, preventing them from moving around in the package.
In car paint shops it is used to protect details.

Strapping tapes - securing heavy shipments in the automotive industry
For securing heavy products packed in cartons or for additional stabilization of shipments on a pallet, binding tapes are widely used. These tapes are durable, resistant to abrasion and tearing. We offer our customers polypropylene tape (from 5 mm to 19 mm wide), polyester tape (from 7 mm to 32 mm) and steel tape (from 12 mm to 25 mm).
