Properties of polyethylene foam

Technical foam, also known as polyethylene foam, is a widely used packing material appreciated by representatives of numerous industries. All users value its versatility as well as protective and insulating properties. Packing foam protects the covered product from mechanical damage, moisture and soil. It proves to be an excellent solution when covering fragile and brittle products prone to scratches and breakage. Its universal competence makes polyethylene foam a popular choice in e-commerce. Types of PE foam

What are the forms of polyethylene foam? Mac-Graf, the producer, offers several variants of the product. Foam in a roll is the most common choice of our clients. Another form is foam in sheets, popular with furniture and automotive industry, as well as TFL. Sheets of foam are also widely used as interlayers. Some Clients choose bags of technical foam which allow for efficient protection of items with minimum time and effort. We offer polyethylene foam in 0.1 to 2 m wide and 0.8 to 15 mm thick rolls. PE foam is thinner than bubble wrap so more material fits in one roll, which lowers the shipping cost. Mac-Graf also sells innovative insulating and protective products: PE SONG foam, SONG foam in sheets, laminated SONG foam and pre-cut SONG foam in the form of crosswise-cut layer materials. SONG polyethylene foam is made of highest quality granulates displaying excellent mechanical and physicochemical properties.
